Therapeutic Massage (Swedish, Integrative)
The therapeutic massage work that Jill does uses a Swedish massage format and is "integrative" in that it combines many different modalities that she has learned over the course of the last 35+ years, including Trager work, deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy, massage cupping, and energy healing techniques. It is relaxing and therapeutic and sure to help work out all the hard working/playing muscles in your body.Learn More
Prenatal massage adapts the therapeutic massage treatment to the special needs of pregnant women, such as having them lie on their side rather than the belly while being worked on and using pillows to keep mom and baby safe and comfortable. With all the changes a woman's body goes through during pregnancy, massage is a wonderful and necessary treatment or well deserved gift!Learn More
Deep Tissue Work (Neuromuscular Therapy)
Deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy (NMT) use deeper pressure and trigger point therapy to work areas of acute and chronic pain. It is often used to treat neck and back pain, rotator cuff issues, and areas recovering from injuries. NMT targets specific muscle groups by working with the trigger points on the belly and tendons of the muscles for release of pressure on the nerves, thus relieving pain and tension.Learn More
One of the most popular techniques for physical relaxation and stress relief, Swedish massage soothes aching muscles with a therapeutic touch that offers deep relaxation and loosens the top layers of muscle tissue.Learn More
Trigger Point Therapy
A massage technique that alleviates pain through isolated pressure and release of specific trigger points on the body. Treatments provide relaxation and significant relief from chronic pain.Learn More
Trager work involves gentle rocking, rolling, and shaking of the body and limbs to create a state of deep relaxation, nurturing, and balance.
